High ceiling 100V pendant speaker packages have all the necessary components to build a PA system to cover areas with high, vaulted or suspended open lattice ceilings. Adastra pendant speakers have a spherical "infinite baffle" housing to develop a balanced, punchy sound with a wide dispersion for the best possible area coverage. A hard-wired 4.5m cable means that suspending the pendant speakers from a high level can bring the speaker closer to listening height, avoiding unwanted reverberation. As an approximate guide, allow around 5m spacing between 10W or 20W speakers at 3m height and use 30W models if the speaker plane is higher (up to 5m). RM-series mixer-amps have a Bluetooth receiver, mp3, FM tuner and are specified in each package based on the maximum speaker Wattage tappings. It is recommended to tap down the power of some perimeter speakers so that the total combined speaker Watts is <90% the amplifier max output power. Using lower tappings on more speakers can allow additional speakers to be added to the line, again observing the <90% rule. |
